     Couldn't sleep well.... Mudbox stuck running in my brain... so I got up and checked out the texture tools and stencils. So now I need to find a tutorial on making your own textures... pretty sure that's how you change the game. Anyways....textures....

     So I have had a little bit of alone time, after an absolutely AMAZING weekend! With that said there is only one thing to do to finish said awesome weekend, Some art!

     This is now my 2nd sketch in mudbox. It took 1 hour in mudbox, and like 5-10 to layout in photoshop  I'm really tempted to paint this one, but I'm so enthralled by mudbox right now I might just start a new project. I can always return to this one whenever.

First 3D sculpt and paint!

          Recently got my grubby lil' mits on a copy of Mudbox 2011. I think its gonna take a lot more getting use to , and it will be a while before I choose which is better, Mudbox or Zbrush. I do love how easy it was to jump into Mudbox (I did this in Mudbox) and just go to town, sculpting , painting, etc. though I believe alot of it has to do with having a SERIOUS background with Maya and previous Autodesk software.

 I would definitely say expect more sculpting work from me for sure!

Hello everyone!

     So I have recently moved down to San Diego, and getting settled in. It is absolutely stunning down here, so inspiring everywhere you look. Recently I have been doing a lot of tattoo designing recently. (see them at my facebook account, or at http://luxogram.co/profile/zockz )

     The fall semester has begun, so I am back to tutoring for the Academy or Art University in San Francisco. Today was the first day back on the clock, so while waiting for a student to show up I did a quick photoshop sketch!

     So I have been a BUSY bee this past week. I have been thinking about this painting for long enough, and thought I should get some work done on it. Experimenting!

     So I picked up an toned sketch book the other day, and a white charcoal pencil of course (I actually bought 3 different ones to test them, and Faber-Castell makes my favorite one.) For quick sketches I really like the medium, it allows me to see my initial idea the fastest because not only can I push back the forms of the drawing with the black pen, now with the white pencil I have the ability to to the form forward. Now I can just attack a drawing or idea while holding on to that original inspiration for longer, and I really think thats a good practice to get into.

New Undead King Concept!

This is my concept king for H.P. Lovecrafts "The Outsider". So now that the rough concept is complete, I want to push some more personality into the character so I'll probably post those rough tonight!
